We are excited to announce that our October 2026 production is the very popular “Calamity Jane”, a show set in the Wild West.  You may recall that the movie of the same name starred Doris Day as Calamity Jane and was a huge hit.  Our Director for this production is Mel Hogan, who is very well known in the Sydney theatre scene.  You may recall that Mel directed our highly successful May 2024 production of “Oklahoma!”.  Rebecca Hansen will provide Musical Direction and Chris Bamford with Matilda Powell will be our Choreographers.  Auditions will be held soon and the production team will be looking for performers – DMS welcomes everyone who is interested in auditioning. 

Auditions:  To be held at the Dural Memorial Hall on Monday 22^nd June and Wednesday 24^th June at 7.30pm. A Group Dance Audition will be held on Saturday 27^th June from 11.30am at Normanhurst Uniting Church, 2 Buckingham Avenue, Normanhurst.

Performance Dates:  The weekends of October 9^th – 24^th 

Rehearsals:  Mondays and Wednesdays from 7.30 – 10.00pm, with Dance rehearsals on Saturdays from 12.00 to 4.30pm at the Normanhurst Uniting Church Hall.
