What our volunteers say
“Dural Musical Society is a welcoming and inclusive community where people can truly be themselves. It offers a supportive environment to build meaningful, long-lasting friendships while creating shared memories through a love of theatre and performance. ”
– Mackenzie Walters
“Volunteering at Dural Musical Society has been a genuinely rewarding and enjoyable experience. It is never dull – there is always something to be done, and each day brings new opportunities to be involved.
DMS has been a significant part of my life for many years, and through it I have formed lasting friendships while working alongside a group of dedicated and inspiring people. There is always a strong sense of camaraderie, with plenty of laughter as we collaborate to bring a production to life.
One of the most satisfying aspects is watching a show develop from the early stages of rehearsal through to the final performances. Seeing audiences engaged, enjoying the show, and hearing their positive feedback after an afternoon or evening at Dural Memorial Hall makes all the effort worthwhile. It truly reinforces the value of the hard work that goes into staging each musical or play.”
